Entering Australian specialist training
Plan medical registration and entry to specialist training as two separate steps.
The idea
To join an Australian training program, you first need the medical registration required to work in the proposed role. The graduate, Competent Authority or Standard route may apply.
How it works
Apply separately to the college or training program and meet its selection requirements. A hospital job or medical registration does not guarantee a training place.
If you are already an overseas specialist
Recognition of your completed specialist training is a different goal. It may be more relevant than joining a full training program.
